Brazil has consistently been drawing the attention of businesspeople, having become the 5th global destination in FDI.
With a population of 200 million people, a free market tradition and many sophisticated institutions, this resource rich and vast country has developped its legal system to give support to all kinds of businesses.
Business lawyers are supposed to understand the legal environment and to go beyond the surface, getting interested in a society’s values to understand why businesses may thrive or not.
Dan Kraft will introduce the student to Brazilian’s legal values, traditions and concepts. This will enable the student to aquire fundamental information on how businesses are driven and protected there. After attending his lecture the student will be able to investigate more effectively on Brazil and similar Emerging Economies.
