Le Pôle de recherche sur l'Inde et l'Asie du Sud (PRIAS) est heureux d’annoncer une conférence présentée par Amita Batra et intitulée The Emerging Indian Economy: Global and Regional Dynamics.
Amita Batra enseigne au programme de South Asian Studies de l’Université Jawaharlal Nehru en Inde. Elle a été directrice de recherche à l’Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) de New Delhi pendant cinq ans et elle a auparavant enseigné l’économie à l’Hindu College de l’Université de Delhi. Mme Batra a également été consultante pour la Banque mondiale, à New Delhi et a été professeure invitée à l’Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Elle a à son actif plusieurs publications nationales et internationales dans des revues à comité de lecture et d'autres périodiques. Elle a publié deux livres, India and the Asian Corridor et Preferential Trading Agreements in Asia: towards an Asian Economic Community.

The Pôle de recherche sur l'Inde et l'Asie du Sud (PRIAS) is pleased to announce a talk by Amita Batra entitled The Emerging Indian Economy: Global and Regional Dynamics.
Amita Batra is Associate Professor, South Asian Studies, JNU. She has worked as Senior Fellow at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), New Delhi for five years and before that as Reader, Economics, Hindu College, University of Delhi. Dr. Batra has also worked as Consultant for the World Bank, New Delhi and as Visiting Professor, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She has to her credit several national and international publications in refereed and other journals including two Books namely India and the Asian Corridor and Preferential Trading Agreements in Asia: towards an Asian Economic Community.
