Fluid dynamics helps us visualize phenomena similar to fundamental
processes. I will show two examples. A light body, for example
styrofoam, accelerates in water due to buoyancy. How large is this
acceleration? Discussions in textbooks are sometimes misleading. The
reality involves mass renormalization of the light body.
In the second example, I will use the analogy between ocean waves and
de Broglie waves to demonstrate that the free fall is caused by the
gravitational time dilation.
