Exoplanet Atmospheric Studies At High Spectral Resolution: from visible to near-infrared wavelengths

                                       Romain Allart
                                Université de Montréal

During this talk, I will present my thesis work which focuses on the study of exoplanet atmospheres. I will show how different atomic and molecular species, at both visible and infrared wavelengths, can be used to constrain different physical processes shaping exoplanet atmospheres. If time allows, I will also discuss various works linked to exoplanets and high-resolution spectra (e.g., the study of the Rossiter-McLaughlin effect, the impact of telluric lines on precise radial velocity,…). Finally, I will conclude on what I will do during my postdoc at UdeM.
